Make Paper Chains for Easter Decorations

Remember the paper chains we used to make for Christmas? Red, green and white loops of paper stapled into interlocking rings to make chains that wrapped around the room? Well, the kids had so much fun making them for Christmas that we thought we’d like to make them for Easter, too. Want to get in on the fun?

To make chains, you’ll need a paper cutter, a ruler, pastel construction paper (or scrapbooking papers and vintage papers for a grown up version…) and a way to fasten the paper chains together, such as a stapler or a glue stick. I cut my strips to be one inch by eight and a half inches each. Then, simply fasten them to each other, using alternating colors.
