I thought we’d kick off the month with an adorable slice of green gardening for the kiddos. The new, Good Growing: A Kid’s Guide to Green Gardening is coming out on March 7th, and it looks totally fun.
The book, a garden guide by Klutz is a “Guide for the budding gardeners of Generation Green.” The book is packed with kid-tested and kid-tasted projects that will cultivate lifelong gardeners and is suitable for kiddos ages 6+. The book’s perks include…
- Activities that can be completed year-round, in all type of climates.
- Comes with a selection of ready-to-plant seeds and two custom-designed Super Sprouters which look super cute.
- Easy to follow guide full of creative and engaging images and growing directions.
- Focuses on earth-friendly gardening.
If you’ve got many kids ready to grow some green, you can even pick up some extra Good Growing – extra Super Sprouters. I think it looks great minus the fact it’s not printed on recycled paper from what I can tell. WHEN are green book writers going to get that they need to jump on the recycled bandwagon – really? It’s annoying. Other than that though, this guide looks like fun for kids and adults alike.
