Remember sugaring, the all-natural hair removal we told you about earlier? The folks at Shobha New York sent us the recipe to share with our readers, so if you want to sip and sugar at the same time like we did, you can do it at home. Just order their Shobha Sugaring Gel and make your own batch:
1 bottle of chardonnay
2 cups of Shobha® Syrup (make with Shobha® Sugaring Gel, see directions below)
1/4 cup brandy
1/2 cup club soda
3 tablespoons of rosewater
Combine ingredients and chill. Chilling overnight is ideal.
1 part Shobha® Sugaring Gel
3 parts water
1. warm the Shobha® Sugaring Gel to a honey-like consistency (30-60 seconds in the microwave)
2. dissolve the warmed Shobha® Sugaring Gel into hot water to create syrup.
3. allow syrup to cool to room temperature before adding it to the sangria recipe.
