Worldwide, there are 3.3 billion girls and women. That’s a lot. So more and more politicians and business leaders are making it a high priority to tap the potential of as many of these women as possible – socially, economically, and educationally. And that’s what the G(irls) 20 Summit is all about.
Taking place in Toronto June 16-19, 2010, the G(irls) 20 Summit will bring together one female from each of the G20 Summit countries to discuss how girls and women can help solve some of the world’s biggest problems. There will be workshops on financial literacy, problem-solving, and how to utilize social media and technology to communicate globally.
