As an avid runner and someone who treasures keeping my feet blister-free and healthy, I jumped on a recent Runner’s World headline “Before and After: What to wear to keep your feet happy when you aren’t running.” But like all of the good-for-you-shoe lists I’ve seen before, to be blunt, I think most of them are ugly. I’m not one of those people who’s okay with living amid a constant rotation of running shoes, regardless of how much they clash with my clothing, and I don’t think the majority of female runners are, either. So it’s great that companies are starting to make non-athletic shoes that are still good for your feet. But am I the only one who wants shoes that won’t hurt my feet, ruin my alignment, OR remind guys of their mothers?
Tell me, reader, am I being too picky or are these not really the most fashionable ways to keep my feet healthy?
