We love Mark Bittman for his “lessmeatarian” lifestyle and easy-to-follow recipes, but it turns out that the food writer is also a runner, and he’s blogging about it for Runner’s World online. He’s logged one entry so far on the blog, “Mark Bittman: On The Run”, and it’s all about his 40-year history of running. (Before you get intimidated, rest assured: He’s taken some breaks.) He says he’s still trying to figure out how to run better – presumably, we’ll be learning with him on his blog – but he has figured out what he likes to eat for breakfast before a run: Oatmeal.
