It’s almost our favorite time of the week. Yep, that’s right – Le Weekend. We’ve got big plans for the next few days (see below). How ’bout you?
This vine vegetable is sorely under-appreciated. We’re going to eat a cuke-centric dish at least once this weekend.
Eat energy bars.
We don’t always have time to cook delish dinners, so we’d better be prepared.
Bake a batch of cookies.
It’s almost time for our summer-long baking hiatus to come to an end, and we won’t even break the bank on fancy baking gear.
Or at least buy some nice-smelling soaps. We’re thinking lavender.
We know we say this a lot, but this weekend we’re dismissing our alarm clocks. We’re going to need our energy next week.
Pamper our hair.
We spend so much time twisting and tugging on our hair during the week. So this weekend we’re going to condition, condition, condition.
See Eat, Pray, Love.
We know. Predictable. But we can’t resist seeing a woman go through a crisis and come out on top. Bonus: Hot actors.
Try a new exercise.
Our workout routines can get stale fast, so we’re going to try a different type of exercise this weekend – because the less bored we are, the more likely we are to try our hardest.
Take in some reality TV.
We promise we’ll only watch an hour (or two), but we need a dose of the melodrama that only reality TV can deliver. But we usually prefer shows with intelligent reality TV contestants over ones with brain-dead party girls.
Buy a $5 latte.
We know we shouldn’t spend the money or waste the calories, but our daily latte really makes us feel better. And we’ll likely ice it this weekend. So there.
