We’ve all heard (or experienced firsthand) how painful kidney stones are. If you’ve had one, you don’t want another — but what are you doing to prevent it? New studies suggest that a change in diet could prevent kidney stones all together. Researchers suggest eating a diet rich in low-fat dairy, lots of vegetables, fruits, nuts, whole-grains, and legumes. They also say to avoid sweetened beverages and red or processed meats.
