I really like the idea of supporting breast cancer research and awareness, but I have to confess: I don’t like pink. Actually, I hate pink. I’d gladly fork over money for running shoes, shirts, food, drink, and jewelry in the name of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but I just wouldn’t wear a lot of that stuff (or use it in my house). So what’s left for those of us who don’t want a pink wardrobe or raspberry-colored candles on our mantle? The good news is, there are plenty of ways to support BCAM even if you hate pink.
If you keep an eye out in your neighborhood, we’ll bet there’s no shortage of local events you can participate in and businesses you can patronize in the name of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but here are a few other (pink-free) ideas:
