Whether you love or hate Oprah, you have to admit: She accomplishes a lot. So what are the new year’s resolutions behind the queen of talk? None. In a recent interview with Wall Street Journal, Oprah advised not to make any new year’s resolutions for 2011: “I don’t make them, because I live in the space that I’m in right now,” she told WSJ. “I move with the flow, live in the moment.”
Instead, she uses her journal to help herself move forward: “I’m writing about what I could have done better, and how could I have improved what I was doing before,” Oprah said. “It’s been my therapy for myself. You get to see who you were and who you’ve become, and actually whether you have improved.”
Do you believe in Oprah’s approach, or do you need a resolution to jump start your ability to live in the now?
