Weight loss really boils down to motivation. You can’t drag someone kicking and screaming into a diet — it’s ultimately a personal decision and commitment. Some people may be motivated to shed extra pounds when their clothing size starts to creep up on them, others are inspired by a major event such as a wedding or vacation and others just don’t let that scale move more than four or five pounds in the wrong direction. Then there are those that find motivation in more unusual circumstances. And all of it can be inspiration for those of us who need a little push towards starting that new workout routine we’ve been holding off on.
