Getting on your bike more is one of the best things you can do for Earth Month (not to mention your own physical and mental health), but for anyone new to biking, buying, maintaining, and fixing equipment is half the battle. And my informal surveys of friends and family confirms: Bike shop guys are not helpful. Some snobby salesmen even do the opposite of help us learn about bikes, leaving us and our bikes neglected.
That’s why I love this video from Etsy. (By the way, did you know that Etsy made useful how-to videos? I just discovered that, and I’m glad I did.) Not only is the bike shop girl not snobby, but she teaches us some helpful tips for wiping the dust (and rust) off our bikes for spring.
