There are a lot of airbrushed slideshows out there about what’s going to happen to our bodies, skin, hair, and wardrobe after 30, but there are also plenty of living women around to show that it’s possible to maintain optimal health and fitness while aging.
Celebrities – from Cameron Diaz to Jennifer Aniston – often make it their business to look good in bikinis. Which got us to thinking about how different exercise regimes and diets change bodies as they age.
So we found 12 celebrities who are famed for taking good care of themselves — inside and out. We’re not naming names (you’ll have to click on our links to see who’s flaunting their abs on the beach) but we are naming workout routines and diets: This is your chance to see what happens when you combine a healthy routine with a swimsuit (and of course, some pretty good genes).
Even we’re surprised at how different these women all look, but what’s inspiring to us is: Whatever their shape or the length of their legs, they all look healthy, and they’re all having fun on the beach instead of worrying about what anyone else thinks.
