All month long, I’ve been noticing popsicle recipes from some of my favorite bloggers and magazines that look almost too pretty to eat. Almost. Who could actually resist a nibble on chocolate and almond butter or fresh blueberry yogurt pops on a hot summer day? Not. Me.
[For those of you who prefer snow cones, I must echo The Awl: “Why eat crushed ice with cough syrup on top when you can make yourself a perfectly lovely frozen treat at home with not much effort?"].
After my disaster of an attempt at making avocado popsicles, I’ll have to invest in some equipment before trying any of these recipes (I’m eyeing this Norpro Ice Pop maker, made of BPA-free plastic with an aluminum top—wooden sticks included!). And then, I will be serving my friends one of these delicious-sounding and healthy popsicle creations.
