From the age of about three, bikini season gets most women in a tizzy. Between worrying about our bodies and fretting over which style of swimsuit makes our butt look the best, it’s the most angst-ridden fashion season of the year, by a long shot. And while it’s only composed of miniscule amounts of fabric, with very limited variations in shape and form, the swimsuit, without question, is one thing in our wardrobe that changes a lot with age.
We kind of hate all those galleries that show us what kind of swimsuit to wear if we have huge thighs, a tiny chest, or a body shape kindly described via comparison to fruit. But even if you don’t care what they say, chances are your swimsuit now looks pretty different from the bikini you were wearing when you were 16.
