HealthDay wants you to know: the US Government has found that menstruating may affect your mood. This is huge and earth-shattering news. We probably would have noticed, if we weren’t so flighty, bad at math, and unable to control our moods anyway.
According to Womenshealth.gov (which is an actual website, paid for by your tax dollars, that is basically 5th grade Sex Ed, but online and without boys), being on your period can make you all kinds of cuh-ray-zay.** You may experience depression, lethargy, and my personal favorite, “being unusually sensitive to rejection.”
Of course, the Government could have saved a lot (ok, or just a little) time, if they’d just watched this very telling and truthful video:
**Also according to Womenshealth.gov, the Government doesn’t really want to invest much money on web designers for ladysites. It doesn’t actually say that, but the hideously outdated template and general lack of usability on the site does. The CDC has a much nicer site. Just saying.
