Fix-A-Flat Booty: Woman Has Cement, Tire Sealant Injected Into Buttocks

This morning, another example of the insane lengths some women will go to in the quest for a better body: A woman in Florida had “Fix-a-Flat” tire sealant, cement and mineral oil injected into her buttocks, in an attempt to get that coveted Kim Kardashian booty on the cheap.

The 30-year-old Florida woman, whose name is being withheld, was severely injured, after fake plastic surgeon Oneal Ron Morris injected her with the fix-a-flat and cement concoction, then sealed things up with Super Glue, in May 2010. The toxic materials spread through her body and nearly killed her, the Miami Herald reports. The woman went to three different hospitals about her “pneumonia-like symptoms” and the “large, infected welts on her backside” before admitting to doctors what she’d had done.

The buttocks are “one of the worst places for injections,” California plastic surgeon John Di Saia told the O.C. Register.

“Booty injections not infrequently go badly. Qualified doctors tend to not offer them, so people can find themselves in not-so-qualified hands. Buttock enhancement … is less predictable than many other operations.”

“Dr.” Morris, a transgendered woman (pictured above) with a shocking amount of junk in her own trunk, was arrested by police on Friday, and charged with practicing medicine without a license and causing bodily harm.

It’s easy to assume this is an isolated incident—one particularly gullible woman, at the hands of one particularly unscrupulous faux doctor—but Morris is suspected to be part of “an underground network of scam artists” that’s been offering home buttocks augmentations at ‘pumping parties’ across South Florida, the Miami Herald says. Unlicensed injectors of various appearance-enhancing gels, silicones and other substances have been responsible for a number women’s deaths in the past several years (and then there was the woman who recently died after injecting hot beef fat into her own face). There’s even a name—”silicone embolism syndrome”—for the problems that arise when non-medical silicone (of the variety sold at hardware stores) used in injections and implants travels to the lungs or brain and causes clots.

Dr. Malcolm Z. Roth, president of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, told HealthDay that pumping parties and illicit injections have been on the rise. Sometimes women are aware of the illicit nature of the procedures, sometimes they’re not. Regardless, it’s all just kind of grotesquely sad, isn’t it? Women are literally dying to get a better backside, or more plumped-up lips. These are extreme cases, sure, but it just shows the extreme influence the fetishization of certain body parts and beauty ideals can exert.

    This is terrifying.

I think it’s important to emphasize that the photo up above is THE DOCTOR, NOT THE PATIENT.

Which leads to an obvious question: What kind of person would get this procedure done by someone who looks like that?

    • TIFF

THATS WHAT IM SAYING THIS IS A HOT MESS. IT SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF ITS SELF. (ITS)

  • Mike 09

I love the booty on this woman. Mmmmm! Fix-A-Flat works for me. haha

    • Mike 09

I take that back! Just read the story… That is a Transgender person. Hahaha! I would love a booty like that, But it MUST be on a born female. :)

    • Cady

Mike that person IS a woman. Just because she’s not the woman for you, doesn’t mean she is not a woman. What you said is downright transphobic and isn’t necessary or funny. It is just hurtful.

    • Elizabeth Nolan Brown

      Thanks, Cady; well said.

    • jack

Well, if you want to get particular, Mike didn’t say she wasn’t a woman. He implied that she wasn’t “born female” which is true unless of course you want to suggest that she was born female because gender depends only on neuro-chemical or neuro-structural characteristics (and not the presence or lack of female genitalia). But that’s arguable, and you can hardly blame him for missing what amounts to a subtle and poorly defined linguistic distinction.

I think what you’re really objecting to is his distaste for transgendered people. I don’t agree with him, but he is certainly entitled to be attracted to whomever he likes.

Regarding the actual article: I can’t imagine how anyone would find a body like this attractive on any gender, born or otherwise, so the fact that someone nearly killed themselves trying to get it is just sad. Also, stop saying ‘booty’.

  • Alexandra

If that’s what the doctor’s booty looks like, what does the patient’s? Naaaaaaastay!

  • Kat

The doctor being transgender has absolutely no relevancy. They identify as a woman, therefore are a woman. That’s like pointing out the doctor is a brunette or is short. It’s just pointless and only makes me think you want “shock” value.

  • Jake

Elizabeth I am quite ashamed at this article. It may be one line, but your random telling that the doctor is trans is downright cruel and rude. Them being trans has nothing to do with the article and what you did was unashamedly tell everyone a very intimate thing about their person. It doesn’t matter what they did, what your statement does is tell the ignorant readers that being trans is wrong. I urge you to edit out that detail. Their scam has nothing to do with being trans, and you pointing it out only serves to slander transgender people ever where.

    • Elizabeth Nolan Brown

The fact that the doctor is transgendered is not ‘a very intimate thing’ about her, it is something that’s in the police reports and all the newspaper accounts of the story. I questioned whether to include that, whether it was just a sensationalist detail or not (but I mean, face it, this whole story is kind of working the sensationalism angle), but decided that her male name and female appearance warranted some sort of explanation. No one is suggesting the scam has anything to do with being trans.

EU….DOIN DA BUTT what a great song!!!!!!

  • Mel

lmao mike lmao #dead. Dont judge a book by its cover.

  • Archer

Sorry sensitive Americans!! That is why people all over the world hate us!!!

The STORY is about a woman who had BUILDING MATERIALS injected into her butt as a cosmetic procedure!!!!!

The Sudo-Doctor is transgendered, stupid, a con, a lier and an idiot – why select the TRANSGENDERED part and Ignore the rest AND THE STORY?!!

    • Tim

Transgender is NOT something bad. Also the word “transgendered” is incorrect, please learn English.

If they said the doctor was African American would that be okay? To randomly point that out when it has NOTHING to do with the story? Come on people, grow up. Also not everyone reading this article is American. I think you are transphobic and just as idiotic as the doctor.

They ONLY pointed out the doctor’s gender identity for shameless shock value. And that’s wrong.

    • Guy

thats the great thing about america, you can do anything. illegal or not, stupid or smart. Land of bad and good opportunities.

  • Jake

It is an intimate thing. Oh man you are really transphobic if you think that it is okay to bring up a personal medical issue when it bears no meaning on the issue at hand. So what if it’s in the police report? It still has nothing to do with this article and you only included it for shock value. It is pointless and poorly written. You are suggesting the scam has to do with her being trans for bringing it up needlessly. You should also remind people she is African American, how scandalous! Names do not have gender. There’s nothing to “explain”.

  • Leelee

The fact that Oneal Morris is transgender is an important part of this story considering the fact that these “Discount Doc’s” are preying on/moving in transgender circles.

Its a description… Not unlike when articles include the age of someone… Its sad that oversensitivity and paranoia in this country has made it impossible to accurately describe something without some yahoo crying foul play.

Besides, the real question here should be what kind of moron looks at what this chick has done to herself and thinks. “You know what… That looks good. Let’s do it.”

That decision clearly shows that common sense is extra super rare.
