Make Your Own Vegan Valentine’s Day Treats

I was about to buy my boyfriend one of those cheap hearts full of waxy milk-chocolate candy they sell at grocery stores for Valentine’s day, when it occurred to me it might be sweeter to make him some Valentine’s day treats—without all the sugar, saturated fat and preservatives. Vegan chocolate candy is easy to make at home with cacao powder (which is full of iron and antioxidants) and whatever extras you want—peanut butter, dried fruit, champagne. Or how about some heart-shaped vegan candy corn? Check out these 6 recipes for vegan Valentine’s day chocolate, cookies, candy and cupcakes.

Spread the love and share your own favorites in the comments.
