Whitney Houston’s Daughter Ignoring Mother’s Lesson; Gets High After Funeral

Despite Kevin Costner telling mourners to “guard your bodies”at Whitney Houston‘s funeral on Saturday, Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was allegedly found doing drugs afterward.

During an emotional service, Costner reminded everyone, especially Bobbi Kristina, about the importance of protecting and respecting our bodies:

To you, Bobbi Kristina, and to all those young girls who are dreaming that dream, thinking that maybe they aren’t good enough, I think Whitney would tell you, guard your bodies. And guard the precious miracle of your own life. Then sing your hearts out.

Nevertheless, following her mother’s funeral, the 18 year old disappeared and was later found at a hotel doing drugs, according to the Daily Beast.

One family friend told reporters:

Everyone was freaking out and calling Bobbi Kristina’s cell. It was so much commotion and activity after the funeral that Bobbi Kristina just slipped away. Ms Cissy [Houston, Whitney's mother] was beside herself.

The source went on to say that although Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother won’t admit out loud that her granddaughter has a drug problem, they have been trying to keep her straight even before Whitney’s death.

Bobbi Kristina was reportedly hospitalized for “stress and anxiety” the day after her mother’s death and was said to be upset that her dad, Bobby Brown, left the funeral following a disagreement over seating arrangements.

A spokesperson for the Houston family denied Bobbi Kristina was on drugs and said she just needed some time alone. But, according to a new report on TMZ.com , Houston’s family is pushing for Bobbi Kristina to enter a ‘live-in rehab facility’ as soon as possible, but are willing to give her time to grieve over her mother’s passing first.

Our hearts go out to Bobbi Kristina during this very difficult time, and we hope that she is able to learn from her mother’s mistakes and get help for any drug problems that she may have.

I was one that was truly touched by Whitney Houstons voice and songs. I love all the songs on the preachers and wife and especially I love the lord song. It brings tears to my eyes waiting the DVD of her singing it. Yes she was truly annointed on so many levels. To Bobbi Kristina, strength is above. I love you know that because of the strong family values your grandmother instilled in your mom. Follow her guidance and with Gods’ help you will pull thru it all and whatever life throws at you down the road. Praying for you all!
Prayer is the key and changes things!

Bobbi Kristina many blessings goes out to you in your time of need. We are praying that you will find the strength inside yourself to carry on. To walk the walk and represent what a young lady as yourself should hold dearly to her heart. That is the love for mothers. Whitney loved you with all her heart, you are the love of her life. She did everything she did for you to have a better, happier, life than she herself had. She taught you life’s lesson, even tho she was only human and as we know humans make mistake. But her belief in the Lord our GOD is stronger than ever before. Her untimely passing means that she was not as perfect as we want to be. But with GOD everything is possible. Have faith in yourself and GOD and GOD will never turn away from you. GOD is love. Be Blessed and believe. A mother’s love is always there for you. You are the light that will shine brightly for you represent all that is love. The heart and the soul of a mother’s love. You are a blessing to your mother. Be that blessing that represents a Mother’s Love. Hold to your faith, shine that light, be wise in your future decisions. Remember mother with greatest and stand with pride.
This is not the end, for your life is the future light that shines the brightest. So Bobbi represent with pride. Hold Faith. Believe in yourself and your future.
