I was 28 or 29, I think, (I know was not yet 30, but do not remember the exact year – I am now 54) when I asked my OB/GYN to tie my tubes.
Initially he resisted, asking me, “What if you find Mr. Right and he wants to have children?” to which I replied, “Then I guess he would be Mr. Wrong.”
