There’s just something about September that makes me want to run out and buy new clothes. Although I’ve graduated (several times over), I still feel the call of a new fall wardrobe. But this year, I’m not listening to the whispers of brand-new pea coats and unworn jeans. Instead of spending money at the mall, I’m going to DIY myself some new clothing and accessories: using materials I already have. Not only will I get a sense of crafty satisfaction, I’ll also save money and keep my old clothing out of the landfill.
