This is my protein powder. I found it at Whole Foods. It’s vegan, low-carb, soy-free, packed with all kinds of nutrients, made with kale and spinach, and basically just the best. It may be my dietary soulmate. Unfortunately, we’ve been going through a bit of a rough patch, because sometimes, it seems like kind of a one-trick pony. Which is why I’ve been experimenting with different ways to put it to use.
The easiest and most obvious way to use protein powder is in a smoothie. But that method is contingent on a.) remembering to buy frozen fruit, and b.) being OK with drinking a smoothie every day of your life, instead of eating an actual breakfast of solid food. So it’s good to have some other, non-smoothie options on hand. Like these, which I’ve rounded up for you.
