It’s not exactly a happy meal anymore. If you haven’t already discovered that McDonald’s is gross and disgusting, here’s another reason to boycott the golden arches: A Georgia woman found a nose ring in her daughter’s breakfast burrito.
That’s right. A nose ring that was in someone’s nose had apparently fallen out mid-burrito-making and landed in Frances Rosario’s breakfast. The Georgia woman told CBS Atlanta that she took her daughter out for breakfast to a local McDonald’s and after her 4-year-old took a few bites, they noticed the silver nose ring.
She told the station that she was horrified:
I turned it, and I see this piece of jewelry sticking out. I’m like, ‘What the heck is this?’ My concern was if something had happened, if she had swallowed it.
To add insult to potential injury, Rosario said she called the McDonald’s (twice) including the location she ate at and the corporate headquarters in Illinois, but she got no help. In fact, when she asked for the district manager’s phone number, the employee reportedly said it was “none of your business.”
No response. No apologies. Not even free burritos for life. Not that it would matter because she says she’s done with the fast food restaurant:
For now, I’m going to stay back from McDonald’s for a little while.
Do we need any more reasons to boycott the golden arches?
