Today, April 19, is “National Garlic Day,” which I’ve just decided is the only arbitrarily designated food celebration I dig more than Macaron Day. I’m a bit of a garlic fiend; a whole bulb seems entirely reasonable to add to pasta for one or two, in my book, and I spent the winter munching raw garlic like some people do Tums.
