Think that’s an oxymoron? If so, you’ve been hanging around the ice cream truck too long. Not all popsicles need to contain gobs of sugar, artificial flavors and color additives!
Try making your own healthier frozen treats with ingredients such as avocado, coconut oil & cacao powder … or fresh fruit and yogurt. On that last front, we’ve got you covered with eight yogurt and fruit popsicle recipes.
Some call for extra sweetening, with honey, agave nectar or plain old sugar. Pro tip? Skip—or at least skimp on—the sweeteners wherever fruit’s involved. They’ll be sweet enough without it, and so much better for you.
