It’s been a long winter and I’m dying to get my pasty butt in shape. Two of my favorite things in the world are dares and working out from home, and I have some exceptionally exciting plans to combine the two. For the month of April, I am going to be embarking in a really cool fitness challenge with Physique57.
Like SoulCycle and Pilates with reformers, Physique57 is the kind of workout that really hot people who have their lives together do. I mean, they have a studio in Dubai! What could be more glamorous? It’s basically a Barre workout which is by far my favorite of all the different kinds of ways to exercise, but this goes beyond a barre workout. I couldn’t be more pumped.
Among the many really cool and glamorous aspects of Physique 57, one of the best is that they make it convenient to join in because they offer online classes in case your location or busy schedule prevent you from going to one of their elegant gyms. They launched their OnDemand workout program to make it easier for devotees around the globe to partake in their signature workout.
Throughout the month of April, I’m going to do as many Physique57 workouts as possible without dying. I’d do it every day for all 30 days if bodies didn’t need time to recuperate in order to fully reap the benefits of exercise. They even schedule rest days on their challenge calendar. All month long, I’ll be tweeting about the challenge and writing up weekly posts about my progress.

Let me tell you a little bit about Physique 57. Per their beautifully designed andÂ user friendly website, it is a “barre-based workout with intervals designed to rapidly transform your body. And transform your body, it does.” Their classes use strength training, cardio, stretching and recovery to help you improve flexibility and endurance while getting your muscles strong and sculpted. I poked around their website for about a million years and was sold.
