5 Fall Flavored Cocktails So Perfect For A Halloween Party, It’s Frightening

Halloween Party

It’s October 22nd—do you have your Halloween costume picked out yet? If not, you better get shopping. And if you do, let’s move onto the next best thing about Halloween: parties!

Whether you’re throwing your own party, plan to attend an All Hallow’s Eve gathering, or just plan to hole up on your couch with some scary movies and a boatload of candy, you’ll definitely want to drink (because Halloween, and celebrating, and such). To do so in style, here are 5 fall-flavored cocktails and drink recipes (with awesome, off-the-cut alcohols) that are perfect for celebrating Halloween in style. I’ve tried them all, and give them my kiss of death (I mean, approval)—just don’t party too hard.

  • 1½ cups spiced rum
  • 3 cups freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 oranges, zested
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • 1 lime, zested

**Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and refrigerate for an hour. Coat glass rims with sugar and garnish with an orange slice. Put a block of ice in the bowl with remaining punch.

(And another alcohol switch! This time, vodka…)

Drink #5: Honeycrisp Vodka

  • 1 large Honeycrisp apple (or your favorite brand)
  • 1 bottle of Prairie Organic Vodka

**Remove the apple core, and slice. Reserve a third of the vodka, and fill the rest of the bottle with sliced apples. Top off the bottle with the remaining vodka. Secure cap tightly, then refrigerate. 3 to 4 days later, you can enjoy as is, or as a delicious Apple Martini!
