“Don’t Be An Asterisk” – AD Council Anti-Steroid PSA

On the heels of the Olympic Games and just in time for fall and winter sports like football, wrestling, basketball and track, the AD Council has released another Public Service Announcement (PSA) aimed at teens regarding steroid use.

The AD Council campaign, called Don’t Be An Asterisk, uses striking video and information available on the official website to help educate teens and their families about performance enhancing drugs. Whether it is a potential college scholarship or just helping the team win, some feel pressure to do whatever it takes to get an “edge”, even if it means taking steroids or other illegal substances. Steroid use is dangerous and just wrong!
