crystal - Hillary can't run in 4 years unless Obama steps down. She's a democrat... he's a democrat... think about that.

Alex - If you're not going to expand upon that statement and get into specifics about what she supposedly said about the 50's that is appealing to her, then please explain what's so bad about family morals and values? Do you really have a problem with women (who now have the right to choose, and didn't in the 50s) who stay home while the husband works out of the home? Or vice versa, since you'd like to "get modern" about things - a husband who stays home while the wife works outside the home?

I'm sorry, but for the exception of limiting women (which she clearly doesn't believe in) as they did back then, I personally don't see much wrong at all with the way this country was back in the 1950's.

I'm sorry, did you just say she was smart? I'm all for women in power but how about someone who doesn't wish America is more like it was in the fifties

Wow, I'm really surprised at this post... I thought that through all the news pieces and interviews with Sarah Palin over the past 2 months everyone could pretty much agree that she was a poor choice for a Presidential candidate. Besides, Hillary's going to run again in four years...

I like this guy. I voted for him.

I also think 4 years isn't enough time to get things done. We should keep Presidents for as long as possible if they are good.

I want to give him ample opportunity to turn things around.

I'm hoping Republicans REINVENT themselves because right now I think they show a lack of insight, a lack of responsibility for our current economic situation - not to mention a lack of understanding of how it occurred.

No, 4 years isn't enough time to get an agenda and it's not a long enough "time out" either.

Wait... why are we waiting EIGHT years?

I love everything you've said, Tracee... except that part.

I've noticed that yes, while recent presidents have gotten voted in for a consecutive term, let's not forget that we don't HAVE to keep this guy in office for 8 years... we can get him out in 4 if need be... and I personally think the need, will be.

Love this post, love Sarah Palin, and I'm hoping she gets into office in 2012!

I think Mormons felt a lot like that with Mitt Romney. Bummer he lost, but stop criticizing us now.

Judging from her interviews once she's been back home I think she got nailed pretty hard by the media and campaign staffers and it disillusioned her a bit. I think it's been good experience though and that she has bigger plans now. She'll be interesting to watch. Though I'd really be happy if the media left us alone for a while--I'm really tired of our politics being under the microscope. Between her and Ted Stevens (may he RIP finally!) things have been crazy. Just wish Don Young would have lost his congressional seat as well--the crazy old fart.

Tracee- I'm on your side here and absolutely loved her during the campaign. I do hope she runs in 8 years, I think she would really run it differently. She's got everything going for her, she's been in a high power field, helped her little state out and is a mom. I can't think of a better person to run the country. She's the one I'd like to have as a role model for my girls.
