Next month, elections are on the go in Australia. And as for the incumbent ACT Labor, they are saying that if they get elected again during elections, then they are going to be pushing forward with the solar station. This has yet to be built but when completed and operational, this solar station would be able to give power to 10,000 homes. A study has already been done to see whether this plant would be feasible or not and the results said that it was a go.
Jon Stanhope is the chief minister and he has said, “Climate change is perhaps the most urgent challenge confronting us globally, and investment in renewal energy cannot be delayed. The consultants have recommended proceeding to a full feasibility study. The government has elected to go one extra step and construct a business case, with the intention of testing the market.”
Well, goodluck to you!
