No More Bad Hair Days For The PWC

I have been talking with a friend about hair problems that come with being chronically ill. We are all very attached to our hair, and it is a little tragic when it starts breaking off or falling out. These days, I dread brushing my hair because I feel that any day, more hair will end up in my brush than what is actually left on my head. Any time not spent in my office, my head is covered by a baseball cap, or some other head covering, while I try to make up my mind on what trendy short hairstyle I should pick. I have been procrastinating about cutting my hair. Its currently at shoulder length, and its taken me 14 very long months to get it there, and its hard to part with…….. I will cut it, just need to find THE cute ‘do.

In my research for cute new styles I came across this site. Its a pattern for knitting your own hair. I am not the least bit crafty (anyone will tell you that). But its fun, and will keep your head warm, and I am sure you can find a use for it when its not on your head….. a tea cozy perhaps.

OK I am not totally serious…… but lets try to think outside the box a little, and laugh at the little problems that we have to live with. Bad hair days are not the end of the world.
