I find I try not to annoy my boss with questions. Being able to take initiative and do it yourself without asking "Can I do this? Can I do that?" can get tiresome. Some things you have to ask on like legal issues you are uncertain about or things you just physically can't do. I remember I was a supervisor back a few years ago and the questions, dear Lord. Stop with the questions and go do something... ugh! When asking questions, ask the right ones and not just ask a question to ask a question.
