13-year-old sperm results in full-term healthy twin pregnancy

For cancer survivors, future fertility can be a huge concern. Maybe this story can give some hope.
A woman in Taiwan used her husband’s sperm to get pregnant – not an unusual event for the most part, but this sperm was harvested and frozen 13 years ago when he found out he had testicular cancer.
Two of the four embryos used for in vitro fertilization (IVF) were viable and the woman carried the twins for 37 weeks.
