2 Weeks and Still Full Of Excuses

fitness.jpgThis month is not going too well. Last week, I was only able to work out twice. I could blame it on the weather, hah. Who wants to get up to a cold morning at 5am when you can enjoy the warm blanket for another hour instead? But like I said, I’ve managed to squeeze in 2 days of working out. 1 day, I did 45 minutes of CRUNCH dance dvd, and the other day I did 45 minutes of Tae-Bo. It felt nice getting back into the gear again. Especially when I did those round-kicks from Tae-Bo. I can be very lazy sometimes but once I’m doing it, I actually find myself enjoying it. Of course I whined the next day for being sore all over..LOL. If you count dancing for about 30 minutes to XM Radio a work-out then I guess I put down 3 days last week for fitness in my 2008 goal :) . This week?, so far I’ve done 30-minutes of Tae-Bo. My daughter is sick so I haven’t really had extra time to do anything lately. But then again these are the same excuses I could easily fall back on which won’t really help me reach my goal.

I might squeeze in weights and squats tonight while I watch American Idol. *cross my fingers* :)

    Ah, Dexie! I found your site because you talked about mine — and then I discover we’re kindred spirits, in a way: I’ve been telling myself I should exercise (or at least stretch) while watching American Idol! I even toyed with the idea of creating an AI weight loss group, where we’d all pledge to do something active while watching the show! Ha!

    Now, as for you, NO MORE EXCUSES! I haven’t looked around much — have you made any goals? Having a goal can help a lot! Mine is 10lbs by April 1st; it’s really helping with my motivation!

    Great job with the kickboxing. I can’t wait for the day that I can be physically fit enough to do kickboxing.

    Suzanna, whenever you get that AI fitness club started, count me in. My goal is getting back to size 8 or was it 10..LOL.
