“24 Hours of Body Love” – Bod #9

Happy Valentine’s Day!

As I’ll repeat over and over today, it’s time to give positive comments to all the gals and guys who’ve bravely sent us their snaps to display and discuss during Breaking the Mirror’s “24 Hours of Body Love” challenge.

Fortunately, the rules for “24 Hours of Body Love” are super simple:

  • Leave comments noting what you like about this person’s body.  You can focus on general appearance or something specific.
  • Make sure to remain positive.  All comments will be moderated by me.  I’d hate to have to delete any of them.
  • The identities of the people in today’s photos will remain anonymous, but be assured they are all REAL people.

Remember, this exercise is meant to be fun and supportive, so let’s take a gander at BOD #9, our second male volunteer, our very own Scott from Health and Men (and the first person who is cool with NOT remaining anonymous… you go, Scott!)

Scott, I really like the shape of your face. It’s strong, but not aggressive. Nice.

    Scott:

Looks like you might get more “hits” than you originally intended (or at least of a different variety!) :)

Seriously, your biceps look huge — do you work out?

  4. Scott says:

Thanks, I do work out but don’t let the picture fool you. I’m only 5′7″ at 165#

  5. Kristen King says:

    I love a man with strong arms…

    kk

  6. SzélsőFa says:

He’s mucles are well toned and his skin looks healthy.

  7. Scott says:

Thanks for all the good words. I wish My skin was much healthier. I can attribute plenty of water in my diet to the state that it is in. People don’t realize the importance of hydration to skin health. As far as muscle tone goes, I wish I had better tone. My arms have the best muscle tone of my body but my mid section needs a lot of work…especially from this winter. I’ve worked hard to get where I am and its tough when you let yourself go a little bit. It’s very hard to be happy with your body after you have been out of shape for so long and then you work hard to get back into shape just to slip a bit. You tend to become a bit vain from pride when you start looking better than you did before and it can become obsessive as we all know to stay in that state of mind. However on a better note when you find that you can accomplish things that you didn’t before, you find yourself giving words of encouragement to others when they start to do the same. The greater importance is not to help others to create a better picture of themselves to get into shape but to encourage better health to others in this way. It’s amazing the changes you find when you get your body into better health and shape both mentally and physically. It took a lot of hard work and discipline to get into the shape that I am even if I’m not exactly where I want or could be. If you’re trying to better yourself in any way at all than you are at the least making an effort that most are not. Thanks a million and best wishes to everyone of you. Thanks again.
