I third all of these suggestions! I AM a teacher and all of these things are much appreciated. Don’t underestimate the power of a nice letter of thanks too. Those make my day and can sometimes lift spirits when things are going badly.

I second Elizabeth on these suggestions as I am also married to a teacher. We love gift certificates and this year knowing that we are expecting a new family member shortly after school gets out, we have gotten several Target gift cards and it is so nice to know that diapers will be covered for awhile!
