Green food is great.
From your 5 foods every women should eat, there is only one I normally do not have: Lima beans.
Fruits and vegetables should be on every human diet.
Avocados are a great food which nutritional properties and health related properties are never highlited enough.
I pefer the 5 foods in a bowl seasoned with black pepper, salt and olive oil.
There is something very important to wash vegetables with a mild sopy solution.

Green foods, yellow foods, orange foods, purple foods and red! The list of healthy foods I love grows with each passing year!!

I was always the kid that was yelled at when we went to a restaurant to eat as all I wanted was to indulge myself in the salad bars. My father believed steak and potatoes was the only way to eat - little does he know!!!

I have tagged you on my site. The details are listed on the link I've provided. I hope you'll partake and even mosey around a bit.

Do green Slurpees count?

Just kidding. I love all the ones you listed except avocados and brussel sprouts. They both taste too rich to me. I like almost all veggies actually except those two and cooked musrooms -- but now you hear don't eat them raw! So, really what to do? (I still eat them). Watermelon is good although maybe technically red, um, green foods...green apples, all herbs, pesto, and candied lilacs which do have some green in them.

Ooh! I love every green food you've listed. I eat plenty of all of them except lima beans, because they're only occasionally available, in frozen form, here on Long Island. I used to love to eat them in succotash (limas and corn) when I was growing up in Texas.

I'm only 2 for 5 on that list. I love spinach and broccoli and eat them all the time, but I've never liked avocado (icky texture) or lima beans or brussels sprouts. Maybe I just need better recipes.

Other green foods I like: green beans, zucchini and chayote squash (although they're only green on the outside, so I guess they don't count), green bell peppers (although I like the ripe red peppers better), romaine lettuce, fresh basil, peas, and honeydew melon. Mmmm, now I'm hungry.
