5 Ways To Snag A Man

No, I’m not giving you the perfect formula on getting Mr. Right to hook up with you. These are just tips on how to improve your game.

  1. Quit the Vanities

It’s alright to get dolled up on a regular day but to make it a priority is a different matter. Don’t be afraid to step outside or letting guys see you au natural. The less prissy you are the more they’ll like you.

  • Be Approachable

Smile! Laugh out loud! Enjoy the music! Reason being, the more at ease you appear, the higher the chance that guys will not be intimidated to come up and talk to you because they will think that you won’t shoot their efforts down.

  • Be One of the Boys

I don’t mean that you should be a hardcore tomboy, rather, I’m simply referring to your sense of humour. If guys see that they can laugh with you, they will want to be with you or at least be around you. They’re checking if you can genuinely enjoy their company.

  • Ride With It

If a guy decides to take you to a burger and fries date, you go with it. What really matters is the company, right? Guys have a tendency to ward off picky girls, labeling them “high-maintenance”. They appreciate it if you cared more about hitting it off than where you go on a date.

  • Cut Them Some Slack

Guys do have their annoying and, sometimes, appalling habits and behaviour but hey — so do we. They like women who can give them space to be themselves without worrying that she’ll give them a hissy fit or dump them soonafter. But of course, they don’t like push-overs either, so, find a balance, ladies.

Who says you need to be all that to date? All the laid-back women will tell you otherwise.

How are those tips working out for you? It’s some really good advice… I’m trying to think of all the women I’ve been out with if they could check all the boxes. I don’t think so.

You want me to do the male checklist?

  2. Sasha Manuel says:

Theoretically, they work just fine. I can’t say it’s fool-proof since I haven’t been going out much but I guess I can’t complain. Hahaha. You’re right, I wasn’t able to check all the boxes before but now, I have to see when I do start dating again.

Male checklist? That should be interesting. By all means, go ahead! :)

    Sasha,
I think you are quite right on most of what you said. I think it is important to be yourself, but after many years, I can say that a good match will allow both to grow and to know themselves better. You are on the right track, so kudos to you.
