What could you do with 300 home & dining tips?
Live better, live happier, live off the charts? Well of course you can; you can do all that and more.
With the proper tools your home can be the amazing sanctuary it should be. That’s why today the b5media Home & Dining channel is bringing you the 300 best tips ever for improving your home and dining experience.
The Offbeat 50…
The Offbeat 50 won’t help you Martha up the house, or get super organized, or use actual fashionable taste to solve household decor problems. What Offbeat is bringing to the table is a bunch of slices of delight that can help you live a little more off the map. I found some cool, some beautiful, some useful (but all quirky) items that you absolutely need for your offbeat abode from all my favorite haunts around the internet.
One last word; moderation. If you use all my offbeat decor tips your house will look less offbeat and I’m thinking more psychotic. Not that we totally frown on that around here.

you know one of my favorite colors is burnt orange……I love the stove.
Cool post! That lego phone rocks.
Burnt orange is one of my favorite colors! I also like green and brown. I always knew you were my somewhat wacky baking double.
My son really wants that Lego phone. He’s six and thus ignores most of my work — but he LOVED this post. He keeps talking about it.
This is list is too fun. The coffee tables are a little scary and the doorknob is a little to Cousin It for me, but a great list all the same.
Looking at photographs of those things made me very happy. Not owning them means I don’t have to dust them and that makes me even happier.
Jennifer!!! This is the best list evah!! I love it. You did such a great job. I want to print this out and out it by my computer because it just makes me smile.
Man, us h&d chicks are just the best. lol!
*put it by my computer. hehehe
Hey Kate, yes dusting is a pain — that’s also why I don’t own all this stuff. And Julie likes my list so much that she wants to print it out and out and maybe out some more; so I’m happy
Oh man, I wanted it ALL.
The robot can do the dusting.
Oh Crabby… the only thing that little robot could dust would be very tiny items. He is a very tiny robot. However, you could, I suppose, get a very tiny home and fill it with very tiny stuff and there you go. If you follow through with the very tiny home plans I will be more than happy to showcase you and the lobster and the home in a very tiny post
I like to say very tiny. Let’s see that was 7 — go me. Ok, I obviously need to get a life.
OK, this post is too great! Every item, I’m all “Ooh, I want to comment on THAT one,” but then the next item came up and IT was super fly, too. So, I’ll just give a general “This stuff rocks” and call it good.
Nice job digging all this up, chick. Now I know why you never sleep!
Deb, I missed your comment yesterday but how can tiny cute mushroom table be scary? It’s so gnome like. The silverware one is at least making good use of old supplies! The cube is scary.
Liberty, hey girl, it does all rock. Hmmm, I think I’ll send you that green baby lamp for Christmas
And yes you found me out… I don’t sleep because I’m out hunting down religious toast stampers (partly).
The shower curtain is the best… though if I could have an orange, black, and white kitchen, I’d go straight for that stove!
You rule!
You want an orange, black, and white kitchen! I always knew you were off the charts offbeat. It would be like Halloween every day! Fun and spooooooky.
Jennifer:
Halloween is my favorite holiday (or one of them, anyway.) My dream is to have a big adult & kid Halloween party someday, but I need to pay someone to clean my house in order to do it. In other words, it’ll be a cold day on the river Styx when that occurs!
I like being called offbeat–thanks! You made me smile during what has been a VERY rough week.
Hey! I had a big Halloween kid/adult party last year. It rocked. I made the worlds coolest spooky food. I’ll have to post pictures at some appropriate blog sometime — maybe Balance or Tree Hugging Family. The food was awesome.
So, offbeat is better than “nice” huh
I haven’t been having the best week either; it’s hard to be one of us offbeat girls sometimes. I hope your next week goes better
One of each, please!
I’m a huge OffBeat Homes fan, of course, but you’ve really outdone yourself with this ambitious list!
One of each! Didn’t you read my disclaimer about not using one of each
That’s ok. You get to do anything you want since you said, “Of course” like everyone should love Offbeat. That made my day. Thanks
P.S You do not want to know how long this list took; but forever is a good guess.
Moderation, schmoderation! No, really, I was thinking that ‘one of each’ would pretty much take care of my gift-list for the next year, and make everyone I know think that I’m just too hip to be allowed to pick up the restaurant check…
