I’m always surprised to hear about kids being unfit these days. It’s not their fault. I mean, they don’t ride their bikes as much. They have video games to keep them busy…. and when I was a kid we had barbies and bikes and not much else! haha. We ran around all the time.
There are a lot of initiatives out now to try and get kids more fit. And here’s one of them: Leslie Sansone’s Kid’s Walk DVD.
This is a walk aerobic workout specifically for kids, aged 3-9 years old. It has a mix of marches, kicks, and side steps. Additional information on the DVD can be found here. Here’s a clip:
