A break from our regularly scheduled programming
If you read here for any length of time, we’ve established that: it’s expensive to get old, it’s hard taking care of kids and aging parents at the same time, employers should offer eldercare benefits, and, my dad now lives alone since my mother died in July.
But, did you ever wonder how people found their way here to GenBetween.com? Just humor me, OK?
Looking at the search phrases that landed people here at GenBetween, it looks like a lot of you have parents who’ve died, please accept my condolences, we’re just having a little fun here. Others of you look like you got here by accident, and, still others of you need some advice, I’ll try to help:
“the sims 2 glamore life” – I don’t think the Sims have Sandwich Generation issues, yet, I think that comes until the Sims when your Sim needs a ride to the doctor, but, Sim son has a sick Sim child at home, and, is torn. But, if you’re still looking for glamour: The Sims 2 Glamour Life Stuff
“bald athlete” – I had to look around a bit, but, here ya go.
“medicare elizabeth” – I’m not quite there, yet, but, thanks for your concern.
“dating sims with stepmothers and mothers in them” – What is it with you people and the Sims?
“gamer dating” – try the Sims site
“stupid stick it” – I beg your pardon?
“feed the children” – Again? But, they had dinner last night, must I do this again?
“recipe mayonaise” – right here. I love homemade mayo, save me some.
“coca castle” – dunno, sounds like an adult entertainer to me.
“unibrow children” – give them some tweezers.
“overdeveloped sense of responsibility” – Yes? May I help you?
OK searchers, keep up the good work, see you next time.
