Oh I am not getting older. I feel 20!
I wish I felt 20. Good for you. Emotionally I feel 20 sometimes though!
Karen,
I found your blog when searching for breast cancer blogs. I’ve read a lot of your articles and have been very inspired by these the things that you have said, and your courage. My wife had lost a 30 something year old sister to breast cancer, and it has impacted her like nothing else that I have seen in the 20 plus years we’ve been married.
Now here in Newfoundland and Labrador where I live, there’s a major inquiry taking place about the health departments faulty hormone receptor testing which is bring up so much terrible information about things gone wrong. I watch my wife each night, see her quietly crying and off in another world as she listens to the mistakes that have cost many their lives.
Thank you for your kind words.
I feel for your wife — I have two sisters and the idea of losing either one of them pains me.
News stories can be frustrating; my advice is always to seek a professional medical opinion from a practitioner you trust about anything you hear that is conflicting.
My best to you,
KL
