A Collage a Day: Monday

I’ve been meaning to get more into collage in my own personal journal, so as a way to encourage me, and you, I’ve decided to have a Collage a Day prompt for each day this week. Using the word Monday as the prompt collect images of the word Monday, and other words you associate with Monday. Also several images of what Monday means to you.
If you like add one word from the list below to make your visual journal session even more challenging. Be aware that the word Monday could bring up all kinds of images for you. While you’re collecting your images don’t censor yourself. Just allow whatever draws you to end up in your pile of collage material.
List of extra words:
morning
wet
hot
afternoon
lunch
evening
night
sunshine
blue
yellow
Use either a prepared background page from your journal, or a blank piece of paper you can later glue into your journal. Cut or tear around the edges of the images and words. Arrange them in a way that pleases you. Don’t spend a long time worrying about it, though. Just play with the pieces, glue and push them onto the page. Use paint, pens or whatever you feel like to add colour, more words, or other images you just couldn’t find in your search to complete you collage.
Magazines are a great resource for collage materials, but search online for images you can use, too. Remember to have lots of fun. Relax and enjoy this visual journal writing prompt. Please leave any comments in the section below.

It’s a great discipline to make something each day! Thanks for the prompts
What a fun challenge! The first thing to pop into my head was “Monday, Monday … can’t trust that day …” by the Mamas and Papas. With the tune running through my head, I know this challenge will be in my mind all day. LOL!
Hi Cyndi,
I just hope these prompts are useful to someone. Thanks for the comment.
Hi Eileen,
Lol, that’s what I like about the days of the week as a prompt. You just don’t know what come up. You sound a bit like me. I get lyrics come to mind all the time in response to different things. Thanks for the comment.
