Liz Smith, in Bebestages, writes about a very cool item that wouldn’t be hard to make as a gift for a new mom or an expectant mom.
It is a snack pack for the stroller or shopping cart. As Liz says, it’s “excellent for new little hands that can’t yet hold little snack cups or who like to throw anything they’re given.”

Isn’t this great! my 1 year old loves to toss her snacks when she doesn’t want anymore. Ican’t tell you how often I’m missing her little snack bowls.
