A “coping with pain site” I recommend

I’ll be the first to admit that I really like having people come to my sites and blogs, but I also feel that I do have to pass on links to sites or blogs that I believe are very good resources for people who have chronic pain. Today, I found such a site. It’s called How To Cope With Pain and it’s run by a psychiatrist who also has chronic pain.

What caught my eye was that he also had a post on Wii game systems and chronic pain today in her blog. Since my Wii came yesterday – and I’ve been having fun with it – I have to agree with what she has written. Even if the game distracts you from hurting, it’s having an effect.

Ok, so now I have to decide, am I going to do some work – or should I go play some more Wii tennis……

  1. Thanks for visiting How to Cope with Pain! I’d be curious if your Wii helps with pain.

We also have a monthly pain-blog carnival that you’re invited to send in posts for. (See the site for details.)

BTW, the writer is a woman!

  2. Oops!! I’m sorry! I looked for a name all over the site and couldn’t find one. I don’t know why I came to that conclusion. Correction coming right up. :-)

Thanks for stopping by and I will check out the monthly pain-blog carnival. Please come back and visit again.

    Marijke
