The International Restaurant and Food Service Show of New York takes place March 9-11 and this year their will be a Culinary Photography Exhibit along with an auction to support City Harvest. City Harvest aids in feeding New York City’s hungry.
Photography for Philanthropy is a Culinary Art Auction as represented above in Daniel Boulud’s “Culinary Masterpiece”:
This oversized collection of autographed photographs will be a special exhibit on the show floor and will be auctioned off pre-show to benefit the City Harvest food rescue program. A group of renowned celebrity chefs have prepared exquisite culinary dishes that have been captured through the lens of famed photographer Diana DeLucia, publisher of New York Restaurant Insider. This prestigious group of chefs includes: Lidia Bastianich, Daniel Boulud, Tom Colicchio, Larry Forgione, Johnny Iuzzini, Francois Payard, Eric Ripert, Laurent Tourondel, and Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
The 27” x 33” framed & matted photographs will be personally autographed by each chef and are being auctioned off online for one month prior to the Show. In addition to the online auction, the entire collection of autographed photographs will be on display in a special exhibit on the Show floor and on Monday, March 10th a check from the proceeds will be presented to City Harvest.
The on-line auction is currently taking place and ends on February 24th at 11:00pm EST. The bids begin at $250 or you can buy now for $950.
