A Little Bit of Good News Goes a Long Way

Have you ever been at the doctor’s office, feeling a bit nervous because you are facing something that is more than a little scary. After waiting for what seemed like hours and hours, the stress mounts….you finally get called in to see the doc.

He takes a look at the problem, and after poking and prodding for a few minutes, he confidently announces “It’s definitely not cancerous sweetie, put it out of your mind now!” He quickly writes down what the problem is…and relief is so great, and you are so happy. That you bolt out of the examining room as fast as you can go, still pulling your sweater on. When you are finally outside, you realize that in all of that excitement you totally forgot to ask him to explain how to treat the problem, or if that is even possible.

That is exactly what happened to me yesterday. Thank goodness, he wrote it down on a piece of paper, so I could google it. I love google!

I feel like such a novice.

Ah, that’s what the mysterious uncertain news was about! I’m glad to hear it’s not what you thought it was. And wear your sunscreen!! ;)

    Sylvia,
    Thanks!

Actually I do wear sunscreen every single day of the year. I always leave the house smelling like either coppertone, or coconut, depending on the day.

I think you might have actually had a chuckle had you been there to see me bolt out of the doc’s office. I nearly (ok probably) flashed the nurse…as I was still pulling clothes on while I ran out of the office.

    Jenna,

    YEAH!

    : )
