A Musical Interlude

I try to post videos (especially music ones) on CFS Squared, because I think music can help us achieve restfulness, and sometimes even stillness. I listen to music all the time. In the morning when my alarm goes off, a classical music station quietly nudges me out of slumber. On my commute to work, I listen to whatever my ipod thinks I should – but usually it has something with a quick pulsing beat behind it (for energy), at the office- I listen to top 40 pop radio (because my coworkers like it), and when I get home, I listen to jazz, ambient, or world music. At night time though, things quiet down a bit and I try to listen to a bit of calm folk music, and sometimes the classical returns.
Lately, I have discovered the sounds of Radiohead. I know I know – they have been around for a long time. Well, I just discovered them. And this band totally relaxes me. I often miss the message of the song, but I like the sounds. So tonight, I am going to post their video “Go To Sleep”.
