Rows and rows of pottery line the isles of this open-air pottery shop in Viang Ka Long, Thailand, a village known for it’s unique pottery.

Handmade pots and pottery dating back over 5,000 years have been discovered in northern Thailand, and the  art of making pottery continues today.

From simple earthenware cooking pots to highly artistic, hand-painted glazed pottery are available in markets all over the country.
