Kauai, in the Hawaiian Islands, is the oldest island in the chain. Just over 58,00 people live on the 550 square mile (1400 km2) island.
The island has been the set of many Hollywood movies, including South Pacific, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, and Six Days Seven Nights. Even Elvis Presley filmed Blue Hawaii here.
